Irena Josifoska

Guardem lá este nome para a prosperidade:

IRENA JOSIFOSKA was born 31.05.1996. into a family of musicians.

She started playing the cello at the age of 5 in the music school “Isidor Bajic”in Novi Sad.

Her teacher was and still is her mother Judit Josifoska.

Irena won around 25 awards and recognitions,the most important being:

1st prize in an international cello competition in Liezen (Austria), 2006.
1st prize and “Laureat”in a republican competition of music and ballet schools in Serbia,in Belgrade 2004 and 2006;in 2008 1st prize and special award with an international jury on the same competition
2nd prize in the international competition “Herann” in Usti nad Orlici(Czech Repub.)in 2005,where she was the youngest constestant
1st prize in the international competition “Petar Konjovic”in Belgrade,2009.
1st prize in the international competition ”Belgrade stage of young talents”,2009. (in competition with all sting and brass instruments and piano)
1st prize and “Laureat” she also won in several national competitions,like in Sremska Mitrovica,Subotica,Nis…

Irena is a recipient of several recognitions,like:
“Provincial award”,for young talents,2005.
award”Golden Bell”,for achieved results,2006.
“St.Sava Award” as the highest recorgnition being given by the Serbian Ministry of Education,2007.

Of around 200 public appearances,the following are most significant:
1st solo concert at the age of 8
appearance on an humanitarian concert in the big hall of the “Ilija M.Kolarac Fondation”,in Belgrade,2004.
appearance on the concert of young cellists, “Cello fest”,in Belgrade,2005. and 2009.
appearance on the Royal “White Palace” in Belgrade,2006.

At the age of 10(in 2006),she perfomed as a soloist with the Chamber orcestra of Novi Sad in the Synagogue.with the same orchestra she played as a solo artist on a tour in 10 cities of Vojvodina,in 2008. In November 2008 she played as a soloist with the Symphony Orchestra of Vojvodina in Novi Sad Syinagogue. Beginning of 2009 Irena represented Serbia with the CEI Youth Orchestra on a tour in Italy and Czech Republic,also as a soloist.
She had solo concerts in the “City Hall”of Novi Sad,”Cultural Centre of Belgrade”, “Serbian Academy of Science and Art”,etc…
Irena attended master classes with famous Cellists and Cello teachers,like:Marc Copey(FRA), Istvan Varga(HUN),Mineo Hayashi(JAP),Ksenija Jankovic(GERM),Stefan Popov(ENGL),

Aleksandar Knjazev(RUS),David Starkwether(USA),Mark Kosower(USA)
Cellist Tibor Hartig,Academic Dejan Despic and composer Svetozar Kovacevic dedicated their compositions to Irena”

Aulas de Cello

Apesar das condicionantes físicas temporárias, os dias em que tenho aulas de violoncelo são dias óptimos, sim chego a casa com dores em músculos de desconhecia ter, mas com uma luz interior e um raio de felicidade trasbordante. É como se a alma estive satisfeita e no meio de toda a chuva se visse um raio de sol que ofusca o ambiente circundante.

O meu próximo desafio são os exercícios do senhor Dotzauer, que pode parecer coisa pouca para qualquer não iniciante mas que se afiguram um desafio bastante respeitável nas próximas semanas. Enfrento-os de braços doridos e sorriso nos lábios.

* A banda sonora é apenas inspiracional, digamos que o som que tiro com cordas soltas e primeira posição ainda não é merecedor dos vossos ouvidos ( ou dos de qualquer ser vivo, animal ou vegetal….mas lá chegarei ;))
